7th Annual Golf Classic
Were you spotted at the Boys & Girls Club of Rusk County’s 7th Annual Mike Wilhite Golf Classic? What. A. Day! The players, hole sponsors, and our amazing community really showed up and showed out for this event! And let’s not forget Henderson’s Chick-fil-A and Cotton Patch who provided lunch and desserts for the players! We’re are thrilled the Boys & Girls Club of Rusk County chose Henderson Country Club to host this year’s tournament and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day!

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rusk County, we believe every child deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive. Too often, young people are left without guidance, meaningful recreation, or positive role models. Our mission is to ensure that no child feels alone—that every child knows someone cares and is invested in their future.
Through programs designed to foster academic success, healthy lifestyles, and strong character, we empower youth to realize their full potential. By instilling a sense of belonging, competence, and purpose, we help them grow into confident, capable leaders.
For more than twenty years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Rusk County have been a place where great futures begin. With the generosity of our donors and community partners, we provide after-school, teen, sports, and summer programs that make a lasting impact. Today, our Clubs serve youth across Rusk County at three locations—Robertson, Wylie Elementary, and our Kilgore Unit—ensuring children and teens have a safe place to learn, grow, and succeed.
Together, we are not only making a difference—we are shaping the future of Rusk County’s youth.
