Strengthen
We are committed to building strong and resilient young individuals who are prepared to face life’s challenges with confidence. We believe that strong character is the foundation of success and strive to nurture it in every child we serve.
Educate
Education is a cornerstone of our mission. We offer a wide range of educational programs and resources that support academic achievement and foster a love of learning. From tutoring and homework assistance to STEM initiatives and arts programs, we aim to inspire curiosity and knowledge in our young participants.
Consult
We understand that parents and guardians play a vital role in a child’s development. That’s why we offer consultation services to families, providing guidance on various parenting and child development aspects. We believe a collaborative approach between our organization and parents can help create a more supportive and enriching environment for our youth.
Find & Fund
We believe in unlocking the potential within every child. To do this, we actively seek out talented and passionate youth from all backgrounds and walks of life. We identify their unique abilities and provide them with the necessary financial support to pursue their passions, whether it’s through scholarships, grants, or other resources.

Our organization recognizes the power of connections. We create a supportive and inclusive community where children and youth can build lasting relationships with peers, mentors, and caring adults. The Kilgore Unit Boys and Girls Club has been a beacon of hope and opportunity for generations of children and teenagers in Kilgore, Texas. We are proud of our role in shaping the lives of young individuals throughout the years.

OUR PROGRAMS
Boys & Girls Club of Rusk County has a lineup of tested and proven nationally recognized programs that address today’s most pressing youth issues, teaching young people the skills they need to succeed in life. Our programs are available in the areas of education, health, careers, alcohol/drug, and pregnancy prevention, gang prevention, and leadership development.
These programs help youth create aspirations for the future, providing opportunities for career exploration and educational enhancement. Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs.
